DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO

In Mexica mythology, Xolotl was the god of transformation, of twins or duality, nocturnal darkness, the unknown, the monstrous, and death; he was considered the twin brother and counterpart of the god Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, who represented life, light, and knowledge. Both gods embodied an antagonistic face of the planet Venus in its transit before the Sun.

Xolotl, the pre-Hispanic god depicted as a man with a dog's head, represented the nocturnal face of Venus as he accompanied the sun on its journey through the underworld. After sunset, the sun died and, with Xolotl's help, fought to be reborn at dawn.
