Material: Palma Jipi Japa; tejido de fibras blandas y finas. 

Proceso: Se trabaja en cueva o cenotes donde la humedad mantiene flexible la palma y facilita el tejido. Los artesanos escogen las fibras y las emparejan de acuerdo a su grosor. La mayoría de las fibras son teñidas con tintes 100% naturales.

• JIPIJAPA PALM

Material: Jipi Japa Palm; tissue of soft and fine fibers.

Process: Jipi Japa palm needs to be worked in caves or cenotes where the humidity keeps the palm flexible and facilitates weaving. The artisans choose the fibers and match them according to their thickness. Most of the fibers are dyed with 100% natural dyes.
