For this, the tree must die naturally, and once its trunk falls, it must remain uncollected for 7-8 years. In this natural decomposition process, the tree becomes compressed, secreting the oil that permeates it and acquiring its medicinal and aromatic properties.
By collecting already dead palo santo trees, we contribute to the cleaning of the forests where they grow, protecting their habitat in a completely ecological way.
